i dont have the tent, but have read the write up about it, only 3000HH and very tight on space 8 square meters to fit 5 people in! its a poles tent too that was originally £650! now can be bought for around £180, huge drop in price and you have got to ask why?
Thanks Marg, that's what we thought too. Can't find it listed on any Outwell past tent info either, very strange. We have a large air and wanted to downsize to a smaller pole but there aren't many Outwell's around.

Out of interest we wrote to Outwell and they replied: "Thank you for your request and interest in our outdoor products
No, no the Odessa 5 tent is not withdrawn.
It's our campaign model - a model we only offer for our retailers and never sell from our own webshop.
You can rest assured this is a valid Outwell model."
We have since purchased it and a footprint ... Time will tell

Do you happen to have any updates on the tent? just wondering if you have used it and what your thoughts are?

Hi Nath
Going to use the Odessa in a couple of weeks in Cornwall. But, if you look on Facebook Group Outwell Camping Club and search Odessa 5 there is a stream and one person does have good reviews. Will let you know after we've used ours, just got a carpet today and looking forward to trying it out.

Update for you if not too late. Had trouble putting the poles through but reckon it was the ground not being level, testing on flat lawn tomorrow. Others have said it gets better second time around. It held up to wind and rain very nicely. No zip on outer doors just on the mesh door so needs a bit of velcro I think. Inner bedroom also lighter than our other Outwell but you get what you pay for. Very large inside. Nice that it's square not angled. Others have said theirs have leaked but ours didn't and it hammered it down.Hope this is of help.

More update on the Outwell Odessa 5. Very sorry to say this had to be returned to Outwell for a refund. On closer inspection there was seam sealer droplets on the windows (three of them) and a small hole in the roof. We didn't feel happy using it in the rain in case the material was faulty. Outwell kindly gave us a refund and we have now bought a Blackwood 5 which is very similar in size but doesn't have the square front that we liked.
This is the first time I’ve received a notification.
I didn’t end up purchasing this tent.
We have Vango Anantara TC for longer trips but fancied a smaller tent for 1/2 night spare of the moment trips and at the time I felt this was possibly a little to big.
