I wonder if anyone is kind enough to help me with the length of the poles for the Nevada XL.
I'm building the poles from scratch (yes, bought without poles on fleabay)
Bought 12.7mm diy durawrap sets for less than £13 each, but want to find out the proper lengths. (I know that they should be mixture of 11mm and 12.7mm, but I am going to try with the 12.7, hoping they are flexi enough). I'm sure I can probably guestimate it, but tge proper dimensions would really make my life easier!
Thanks for reading.

Hi
Just be careful that the 12.7mm poles dont put too much strain on the tent as they bend in a different curve to the 12.7 x 11mm mixture that outwell use.Doubt if you will be able to make the rain hood pole for the side door due to the angle of the ferrules and dont forget the inside centre bracing pole that runs between the front door and the bedrooms

Thanks so much Arsenaldes. Yup, that is my only worry about using just 12.7mm. I was wondering whether I should try and combine, with some experimentation trying to get the ferrules to fit. I will try first with 12.7mm I think. I have bought enough for the inside too! At that price it was rude not to! (£12.95 for the set of 11 from Yeomans, if anybody needs them- low stock) With the canopy, I was thinking I could have the angled ferrule made and use 8.5mm poles. I do need to go and look at the angle first... Will take my school pencilcase to the local GoOutdoors!!!
The problem you have if you want to use the 12.7mm side poles and the 11mm roof poles as per original you will have to have the ferrules made for these as well as they are non existant to buy as they are straight.I think from memory the shorter bedroom pole uses longer pole sections than the outwell replacement ones so you may have to do a bit of a bodge on that one to get the right length. The inside pole also has has reducing ferrules at each end to fit in the sockets so you will have to look into that one. Incedently poles from a nevada m are the same but there were 2 different rain safe door poles. You could try contacting a few outwell dealers to see if they have poles from an ex demo.Good luck with it as they are nice tents have the XL and the M myself

If it helps i can get my poles out at the weekend and measure for you. Have you had a look at your tent yet? If it has a black skirt round the bottom then its the later model, for the porch pole, if you look in the bedrooms there should be a small tag with the date of manufacture
