Hi im wondering if anyone can help me out on this.    I recently bought a vango aspen 500. of eBay   second hand.    was told all tent poles are present and correct    only to find out the front tent pole is missing    ive contacted vango. to be told. these are old tents. so don't stock them .   im trying to see if I can get another pole. that's similar. to the old one    as the lady won't give me my money back.     please if anyone has this tent I need to no the measurement of the front black porch pole      thankyou. any help much appreciated

Can you measure the length from the tent then buy sufficient total length from a camping shop. They can sell lengths of pole and fittings. You can cut poles to length and attach fittings and elastic to suit. It's not difficult.

We bought some spare poles years ago from Millets (15% off if National Trust members). We got rid of these when we sold our tent and went to metal poles.

These poles can all be cut down to size, but you need your own saw. You can also buy spare elastic to restring the poles, which is a nasty job but satisfying once completed.
