Newcamper, that is the one ,but in Black and Mercury off of ebay, about £27 delivered . That's another three metres!! Thought it could be used with the main tent instead of having to keep messing with the porch poles at the front , or if I pitch with an open side it could go there .However, the camping wallet appears to be empty at present !!
Do you think that would fit the main tent OK otherwise I'm looking at geting the Aztec single pole that Johnny rigged up which seemed to be a grate fit and close colour match.
Well there was a post a while back with a small sun canopy on a matrix which appeared okay for height and colour .There is a picture in the review for Matrix 6 or 9 .The black is in the Eoolva scheme and mercury helps tie in with the grey, and for the money,it does give you a decent amount of space.
The picture is in the Matrix 9 review section. A question though; I thought the Matrix tents were slightly shorter than the Evolva which may make a difference to whether it will fit the front entrance?
Looking at the photo, I think the Aztec single pole canopy might be bigger?
Now got to try and find Johnnies photos with the Aztec porch attached!
Am I getting confused? is the one on the matrix photo a smaller version of the Vango canopy that you are talking about? if so is there a link for the one you are considering?
Just got back from a great week in France. Reports and pictures to follow. Quick question for this thread. How to you put the chef onto the Link? Do you need the long V pole in the chef? I dont see how the metal rings and the pin work on the link.
Last day was sunny and about 32. The rain started at 7:00 am on our last morning just as we needed to pack up and leg it for the boat. My garden can take one SA on the back and one on the side so this is a first for me using the LA and CA together.
Sounds like you had great weather! Look forward to the full report as OH very intersested. The CA attaches in much the same fashion as the SA . The pin goes into the CA roof pole .The V pole is open for debate as some say it is to be used when free standing , others say not . I think if you use the roof rail then I would use it , otherwise what ever floats your boat .
Hi all.
I'm so glad I found this thread , just annoyed with myself I didn't find it earlier. I have owned an Evolva now for two years bought from "ebay used" after seeing the tent in all its glory at Park Dean , Dorset 2011 it might have been one of you.
I am looking for a link annex or two,
I wonder if "Numbersix" still has the contact details of the wholesaler and would share these details?
An ever hopeful Evolva owner
