Regarding the lost receipt, I wouldn't worry too much about that.  The Vermont has only just come out this season so no one is going to argue that it is out of warranty.  If you do need to return it and the dealer won't help then contact Outwell directly.

Thankyou for telling me that. You just preaume lost receipt..............no chance!!! As I said before though, I really do think that the problems were us and pitching errors. Fingers crossed after a few more times pitching it, it will all come right.Handy to know though incase (god forbid) we have any other problems/issues!

We have been away a few times now over the summer and either we are getting better at pitching it, the material is giving a bit or we are just getting used to the lopsided-ness!!! Ha ha. No in honesty, just talking to my other half asking if he notices the problem as much and he says it doesn't seem half as bad since we got the footprint groundsheet. It more or less tells us where the poles should sit and where to peg down etc etc. Think it has almost definately solved most of the problem. Not saying that it is totally perfect but it is certainly lots better than 1st one or two pitches. All in all we are well impressed with our tent. Its totally waterproof and is exactly what we were looking for! Still haven't bought the carpet but its deffo on my wish list for next year! Hope this has helped???.
