Yes, the Montana 12 can be used in this way. The thing to remember is that tunnel tents designed to be used with bedrooms up one end only have windows around the three other sided, giving very good quality living space and outlook plus usually a good choice of doors.
With the Montana 12 you have the versatility of choosing to hang bedrooms at either or both ends, but because of that it only has windows on the two long sides. So although it potentially offers a greater quantity of living area than the Montana 6 you need to bear in mind the difference in the nature of that space. MT
