I would get a Cabanon Espace, because the rear bedroom section is entirely separate from the living space (here), so can be closed off during the day.

There is tons of space for kitchen stuff etc - with a curtain to separate off that area - and you can roll back the front and right hand side of the tent to create a shaded living / dining area.

You could use the biggest bedroom inner (with divider rolled up) with a double high airbed, to have proper sleeping facilities, and use the other two for storage / porta potti and for the pooch (who could perhaps have his own bedroom?).

There is a hanging rail in the bedroom area, so some clothes could be hung up.

You could perhaps fit an optional sun canopy to the side of the tent (right side) to create more shaded area, or for a table and chairs.

How about getting a tent sent to you by a supplier? These people say they send to other countrys, and being Dutch they will speak good English. They seem to have some good cotton "bungalow" tents at silly prices too. Seem to supply everything.

I too was thinking about the Cabanon Espace 8. There is one currently on ebay.

I'd certainly go with the suggestion of a canvas frame tent. As for power - if you intend to have a car out there, then go for a couple of rechargeable lanterns which you can plug into the ciggie lighter of the car to keep them charged up.

For cooking, you would need to find out what fuel is available out there. If camping gaz is readily available, then you could get a gaz fueled camping stove. If not, then maybe you should go for a petrol stove. If you own the land, then I'm sure you could build a basic barbeque to cook your meals on.

Solar showers are quite reasonable to buy, and with the hot sun they should heat up the water okay, but they don't hold a lot of water, so it would mean a very short, quick shower. Otherwise you would need some sort of metal tank like an old fashioned copper, which can safely be heated up by lighting a fire below it to provide water to fill a small bath tub.

Solar panels are expensive, and you'd need lots of them to provide a reasonable amount of electricity.
