Well, it's supposed to be 5-7 years of "normal" use, no? So if you take a normal year to mean two full weeks of camping and perhaps four weekends, that adds up to 15-22 weeks full time.
My big synthetic tent (Vango Colorado 1200dlx) cost me £200 new, has seen at least 12 weeks of french summertime and still feels perfectly okay. But if I only get one more long french trip out of it, that's still 16 weeks. So it will have cost me £12.50 per week. Not so bad, really.
However...I bought an 18 year old TT for £200 as well and am confidently expecting another ten years out of it, barring acts of God and mice. So that would be a mere £20 per year, which is even better.
