Agreed - the walls do make a great feature. The SoulPad I'm looking at is 4metres in diameter at £220 - quite cheap I thought. What price were the ones you looked at, roughly?
the link to the one I'm thinking of: -

thanks!
That's strange Squeek, at 2.19 yesterday, you posted here that you have one of these tents. At 2.22 yesterday are asking for the main advantages of camping under canvas. At 2.23 yesterday you are thinking of getting one here . At 2.24 yesterday you are wondering what they are like here . Rather confusing!

lol! So you're not The Threads Police then?
From time to time, retailers have been known to post on these boards in order to get some free advertising, by masquerading as a camper who recommends a certain tent, or retailer.
I have to agree, it does sound iffy when someone joins, states things like:
'I have one of these and its dead easy to put on on your own! great family tent. 10000% recommend.'
then later posts:
'just wondering what they are like...'
then again:
'Agreed - the walls do make a great feature. The SoulPad I'm looking at is 4metres in diameter at £220 - quite cheap I thought'
Just call me an old cynic, but doesn't that posting history sound a bit dodgy? How can you recommend something '10000%' and claim it is easy to pitch alone when you haven't even bought it yet?
