I have a leben aachen 4 and am very satisfied with the tent and have had no proplem with it in rain or  the wind

But TBH, I don't care if you're Tentastic or not, except in the interest of full disclosure. Other camping suppliers come on here defending their products and services and they gain more credibility by  doing this upfront that you might belive.

Honestly, I have absolutely connection with Tentastic whatsoever!

As you probably now realise, being a satisfied owner of one of their tents I think it is only fair to redress the balance against the usual barrage of pejudiced hysteria against Leben/Rage/Stormproof tents!

When an Outwell leaks nobody says "I'll never buy an Outwell again" and when it happens there is no end of calm rational advice posted about dealing with it. If it happens to a Leben the whole make suffers. Again, if a poster tells us about how his Coleman "went down" in a storm there is lots of sympathy and understanding on offer yet if the same thing happens to a  Leben it "falls to bits" and once again the whole brand is slated.

I think it is so unfair and will continue to offer rational and unbiased challenges to these prejudiced attitudes.I've had no problems with my Stormproof and have spent many snug, comfy and secure nights under it with no ill effects!

It's always a pleasure to read your posts though Val and have learned a huge amount from you. Keep posting!!

Oh well, I'm still never going to buy a Leben or Rage orStormproof tent. Nor, come to think of it, an Outwell, Coleman, Gelert, Wynnstar,EasyCamp or Sunncamp tent.I'm a Vango woman, through and through, lol. Except for the Conway, of course!

Fair enough Valk!

But I'd still keep a spare Leben in the boot to get you out of trouble when those high winds come in! lol
