The Arizona is great as a weekend tent. I managed to pick on up in April for £75 as it was last years stock, but no different to this years design!! Takes about 15mins to put up! and even better with the outwell side canopy of the front, if you get what I mean!! I'll try and post a pic in my gallery!

My suggestion would be an Outwell Minnesota.  Good sized living area and bedroom.  SIG and goes up all in one with the inner attached.  Don't be put off by the steel poles as it's very easy for two to errect.

My recommendation is based on our Montana 4 (the Minnesota's predecessor) which we bought last year and used numerous times.  It's our weekend tent and OH and I get the tent pitched and kitted out with airbeds, sleeping bags and everything else in 45 minutes.  Once the tent is upright and pegged out in the corners one can finish pegging and guying whilst the other sets up the bedrooms.

Usually there are four of us but occasionally my eldest son (8) and I go camping and pitch the tent between us with no problems.

I have the Sunncamp Evoltution 600 as a weekend tent although this has two bedrooms 1 x2 man and 1 x 4 man you dont have to use them both I would just use the 2 man if I am on my own or the both if with the kids

Thanks for the photos Velvet Kitten. The 600 looks much bigger than the 400. Can you tell me how long it takes to pitch, and have you any idea how it is in wind?

Thanks

Martin

The Gelert Utah is a fab tent with loads of living space and a very big bedroom. Also got the sown in groundsheet and doors all round. Takes 2 of us (my 13 year old son and I) 30 minutes to put up and guy down.   Really solid frame and its also got a couple of boot stores at the front for keeping shoes and boots out of the tent. It comes down in about 15 minutes and folds easily back into its BIG bag. Ideal for weekends and longer breaks. We love it. Pics on our gallery if you need to see it. Its also around £120 at world of camping just now.
