How do you go about viewing tents? I live in Wiltshire, but don't know where to go! It would be good to see the Horizon range actually up.

It's rare to see the Horizon up, that's why I mentioned alternatively seeing tents of similar sizes. You're far more likely to see the Outwells up and gauge size from them.

We did see an Horizon up a few months ago at a tent place in Shepperton http://www.thefamilytentshop.com

they had the Horizon and the Zenith 6 up at one stage, not sure about now.

All you can do is raid your yellow pages or internet and phone each local retailer to find out if they have the display you want.

Just FYI - the 2009 Horizons now have both step-in doors (ie. over the SIG) and mesh outers...

A Horizon 8 with Porch, as well as the Outwells can be seen at DW Camping at Wyevales Garden Centre on the A259 between Chichester and Bognor. About 70 tents of all sizes on display.

A fun afternoon out! ;-)

Hi, we saw the horizon 8 at Stapeley water gardens in cheshire last weekend and loved it!

Can you please let me know where you have seen it at that price? Cheapest ive seen is 219.

Hi, I am new at all of this camping lark, but we have the Horizon 8 and I must admit I was really impressed at how easy it is to erect (even for us!)  and even quicker to take down. It has a sewn in ground sheet and plenty of room inside for two adults and two teenagers. I don't know how it handles in bad weather because we had ideal weather for our first trip. Lets say though, I am really pleased we bought this one.
