Just my 2 pence but why buy more tent than what you really need? We are a family of 4 soon to be 5, I have 2 boys ages 3 and 14 and we all sleep in one room. We open it up. Sleeping in the same room isn't like sharing a room at home. This is a great time to get together.

We store our clothes bags at the top of each bedroom and there is still plenty of room.  I like sharing our room as we have a real chance to connect with our children when camping where we don't have that quality time at home.

If they were camping with friends, they would probably share a room in a tent so what does it matter if they are sisters?

Like I said, just my opinion, wish the best in your choice.

Hi

We have a Wynnster Saturn 9 which we purchased from outdoor focus for £159.

Its 2007 model with a porch, roof windows 4 bedrooms or you can have 2 large rooms and sig.

Hope this helps

Debbie

Have you thought about finding a pitch for a very big tent?

Alan29

After looking at the large tents and pitches you have a point, which is why I am turning my view to an awning to give extra space for storage.

Mamabear - I agree with everything you say - but our bedrooms just about fit 2 airbeds and no room for anything else.  I also hope that not in the to distance future we may add to our family and that will put a different view on things.

Great response from everyone, thank you all

We have three children, 2 girls and a boy, the boy now takes a pup tent whever he can to get away from the girls, it also means the eldest girl can have a bedroom for herself as she has turned teen and sometimes likes some space away from our 8 year old, which is fair enough!!
