By the way, anyone have any idea about the universal side canopy and the iowa? I've been thinking about ordering one, but would like to hear if anyone's put them together yet?

Hi, I am thinking of getting an Iowa 6 as a weekend tent (our Montana is just too big for that). Does it have fly screens / no see um mesh as my wife gets bitten to pieces by mozzies?
Thanks
The Iowa is a sample tent for 08 and only a few companies have it. It has been tried this year and has had no major problems and is due to go national next year. So it should have footprints, carpets, extensions and stuff next year. It should be in next years catalogue.
Following on from that, Outwell produced it as a promotion tent for 2008, it is running in 2009 and canopies, footprints, carpet all available..only thing is it's in green next year!!!!!..with blue being discontinued from there range...

Yes it does have fly screens/no see'um mesh and is so quick to put up. Tested it in the garden in pretty miserable weather and there were no leaks. The only thing it needs is a canopy!

After the rain at the weekend I'd say it does need a canopy. My brothers tent got wet everytime door was opened. Can't believe they're makimg it green next year. The blue is lovely. Stood up to some strong winds too.
