We've had outwell for years. Decided this year we liked the designs of the vango, so tried them for a change. We had 2 vangos in the space of 2 weeks. Had nothing but problems.....one, believe it or not, was a hole in the dam roof of the outer tent! Took tent back for the second time and got our money back. We've now gone back to good old outwell, only this time we splashed out....we treat ourselves to the outwell wolf lake 7!!
Very pleased with it! Think we will find it rather difficult to be swayed away from outwell now. Everyone will tell you different things about different experiences, which can be very helpful, but wat you have to bear in mind is what YOU want the tent for and how much you are prepared to pay, and how you want the tent to perform (ie, weather conditions, waterproofing, bedrooms, living space, where you will camp on hols England/France etc and for how long...weekends/weeks etc)
Take each persons views on makes with a pinch of salt. As my dad always tells me....you only get what you pay for! If things are cheap, it's cheap for a reason, if you pay good money for something, you should be getting good quality.
Hope you make the right decision for yourselves.....not anyone else!!
