I LOVE mine...  so much we now have a noumea (our noomie) as well!   My 14 year old daughter who is slight of stature (!) and her equally petite friend put both of them up on their own, and perfectly too!  

Go for it, you won't  be disappointed.

Hi, thinking about a Guadelope if the budget can stretch as it seems so easy to put up. Having read through may I ask why no space to cook inside? What can you fit in the living area and can you overflow into the bed area? Also be interested in an answer to the above as was thinking about 1st trip out next Feb.

Not been on here for ages, so sorry for the no reply!   My daughter does love the noomie, took it up on the moors on her week's camping for enrichment week, and ended up with 12 of them in there every evening as it was the cosiest tent!  She strings pretty lights around and has a little table for her make up!  BLESS!   I plan to use it too though for the odd ocassions I get away on my own...

We bought it off ebay for some stupid buy it now price, couldnt believe it when we opened it that it was just like brand new, I reckon it had only been used once or twice... lovely!

Camper Sherry - there is nowhere to cook inside as the tent has sloped sides and no dedicated kitchen area. You could and I'm sure people do have a very small cooking set up inside for boiling a kettle etc. but personally I wouldn't do any more than that firstly because the tent has a full sewn in groundsheet and I always worry about about cooking on a SIG, secondly you would have to cook in the middle of the tent to keep away from the sides and that is the area that people might be walking through plus although it's canvas, there is no dedicated ventilation because it doesn't have a kitchen window and I'd prefer not to make my tent smelly and also I wouldn't risk cooking splatters on the walls.

You can use the space however you wish as there is only a curtain divider between the bedroom and living space unlike a normal canvas tent which has a separate inner.

I cook just outside the tent, under the side panel and have never had a problem...

 I agree with you jaks, have never had a problem cooking under the side panel, or even just boiling a kettle, for tea in the center of the tent, i'ts the easiest tent to erect and camp in that i have ever owned, well worth the money.
