Wow i will be interested to see the photos and find out how much your selling them for if you are able to make some more.I had a discussion on here last year i think it was about trying to make something but it didn't really work, i'm just not that good with a sewing machine
I like most of us NL owners want an extension type thing just to go over the front to stop the rain coming in.As when it not raining we put our front up on poles, so sides on that would be perfect.
Gary you have definately found a hole in the market.

our norfolk lake is slightly lighter now than our side extension and we bought them at the same time we have just returned from 2 weeks away where we purchased the montana 6 front extension not canopy to go front slight colour difference but nothing major it was a god send we use our side for our kitchen area and the front to sit in in the evenings it fits perfectly despite the lady in the shop saying it wouldnt also it looks like u can set it back a bit further over the tent if space was tight the site we go to has no problem with it although we dont park our car in our pitch good luck with deciding but i wouldnt be without either
I just got one!! soo excited...was an ex display bargain so although it is a bit faded, we probably will use the tent more than the ext so hopefully they will eventually match!!

Funnily enough we were out last weekend and there was a local Yeoman's show on, they had a returned Montana 6 extension (not canopy) that they let us have for 30 quid.
Works perfectly and the damage was minor and easily repaired.
Hi there all you experienced NL owners. I'm really interested in purchasing a Norfolk Lake but need to know, have any of you ever had a problem with the campsite your wanting to stay at not accommodating a tent of this length? I'd be greatful for your first hand knowledge before I purchase
I've had no problems with campsites and that includes C&CC sites. It falls within the regulation pitch (just) in the club sites. Because of the tunnel design of the tent, it can fit in most standard pitches. Go on you know you want to!!

We bought a side extension for our Norfolk Lake while we were on holiday. It was raining and we were in the tent and getting very hot and stuffy. We couldn't open any of the windows, hence the need for a side extension. I'm not sure with the canopy if it would be enough to allow the front to be rolled up during such rain as we have had this season, and still keep the dry area dry.
On the other end of the scale we had one rather hot night and we left the mosi net closed but rolled the door up, and left it like that all night. We felt we maintained our privacy, and also if it had started raining in the night the tent would be protected.
------------- Started with a motorbike and tent.......my gallery, my life.
Never had a problem with tent size. It's actually a smaller footprint than the Monty 6 with a front extension...
Only thing I find is that they sometimes ask the size of tent in berth, this makes it an 8 berth and therefore a much higher pitch price in some cases. even though the footprint is small....Not sure how fair that is...
Well I've gone and done it! I purchased a Norfolk Lake yesterday so cant wait until we can test run it next month..... now does anyone want to buy a marquee that is the Wolf Lake 7?
Remove the bedrooms - Perfect for wedding receptions!
We have a arrow lake and have the same "need" for a front extension. Has anyone managed to use the matching outwell tarp in an inventive way to solve it?
