So that is POOR SERVICE from SINGERS OUTDOORS.

In fact SINGERS OUTDOORS appear to have LIED and ATTEMPTED TO CHEAT a customer in this case by denying the refund that TRADING STANDARDS would demand.

I wonder if this will appear in any google searchs.

I jut assumed they were right to do it like this? Had I known I still wouldn't have had a replacement tent before the end of season then I would have pushed for a refund, but now I have ended up with neither because of them!

Don't give up.  You are legally entitled to a refund.  Contact Consumer Direct, who will advise more.  How did you pay? If by CC you should have more rights.

 

I am having similar myself from another retailer who refuses to refund. :( Camping Centre (London) wouldnt even send back to manufacturer under warranty.
