Ooops sorry, I didn't quite get the 'quote' thing right
Yes, Former Scout is correct - we went to Camperlands in Manchester and they had the Monty for £329.99. We printed off the webpage and took it to Go Outdoors who price matched and beat by 10%.
Glad you're sorted anyway. We've just come back from our first trip in the Monty and it was FAB! Brilliant tent!
Enjoy

Fear not, this DOES get easier the more you do it. You'll develop a method to getting it back into the bag and, when we do it now, we actually have space to spare that we can fit a good number of other bits in down the sides too!
You're absolutely right!! We packed it up and back in the bag with no probs by using the technique that I read on here - it was easy! I love this website, lol.

I've seen the Columbia on display and I think it's a no-brainer!! Go for the Montana. In part because it has steel poles rather than fibreglass.
I think you might be getting mixed up with the Sungari? They are virtually the same tent but the Columbia has the steel poles and has the new side porch thing, other than that, they are identical.

After a few times packing away we seem to have perfected rolling up our Montana 6. I even manage to fit into the bag the porch groundsheet, the footprint, peg bag, mallet and door mat!!!
Trust me, it WILL get easier with practice.

We are going to buy the Montana 6 next season as well. Only 2 of us but we like our space and after doing loads of research on tents, asking peoples opionions on sites this year and talking to tent suppliers, we are definately going to go for the Monty. Planning a 10 night trip to Germany next year so really want something bigger.
We bought 2 Outwell Deluxe Large camping beds this year so the plan is to take out the bedroom divider and have one large bedroom. We do this at the moment with our Vango Orchy 500 and it works really well for us.
I would like to put in a bid for the Vango Columbia. It is far more flexible in rooms, front opening, no step over, etc and is not dark (given the colour of the flysheet). We have one and found it great!
If you want to get one though - you need to act as it doesn't look like Vango have it in their 2010 range. There are still a few around at very good prices. I don't know what Outwell are planning for next year...
