Hi Danny,
With regards to the Vango Large Canopy fitting the Icarus 400, I'm afraid I would'nt like to say, apparently the canopy is not a perfect fit on the 500, but it looks good enough to me, based on adownes26's Gallery Pics exactly what that would mean on the 400 I'm not sure, but I would have "thought" that it would fit that too, albeit not perfectly. Maybe someone else out there can clarify.

Spotted another difference in the 09/10 model. The whole rear vent is different. On last years there was a vent with a gusset at either side with guy ropes at the bottom. There was also a large square net 'window' in the inner. This year the inner has a smaller mesh area at the top and the outside has a flap coming off the rear pole. This looks better to me fur guying as they are attached higher up and don't appear to pull on the material as much

Have just bought the 600 (and the 500 for a friend) and it suits our needs. Easy to put up (I hope) large enough to give us plenty room (only me, hubby and the dog). We wanted a green one but couldn't get one till May, so blue it is. Will be buying the carpet (never had tent carpet before) as well as the footprint (never had this either!) and the canopy for something to cook under should it rain (hoping I'll jinx myself by spending money on the canopy and it won't rain much the whole summer..lol..).

We won't have the tent till the end of February which is ok as it's stopping me putting it up in the very wet garden!

We went to Mitchells at Wakefield yesteday and bought the Icarus 500.  The other half had seen it on the internet for £139.99 with 10% off for this month only.  Mitchells matched that and gave us another 10% off so we got it for £113.00!!  Cant wait to start using it now.  Roll on Easter.

That's alot of tent for just over 100 quid.

I'm still going to shop around before taking the plunge.
