1) Can the bedrooms be changed to 2 x 3 speeping pods? (I know I have asked this already at the beginning fo this thread but since you actually have one you may be able to shed some light) - no - they cant.  They are three separate pods which can be removed individually leaving 2 or 1 in place

2) Is the "windbreak" in the bag? We were told as an offer it came "free" but have not unpacked the bag yet... - yes - from memory - it was in the bag

3) Have you brought the 4th pod? I'm thinking that maybe if we brought the 4th pod we could use that as one big bedroom and remove the 3 pods.... no - we didn't as we didn't need it.  If we ever had other people staying we'd just have some inside pods and the others in the main area - maybe kids in pods and adults outside!

4) Is there a zipped entrance behind the pods? or is this purely for storage (what a great idea!) If you imagine the rear of the 3 pods being in a straight line from left to right but the outside of the tent being  'v' shaped at the back - the area inside will be triangular in shape.  It is not enclosed - just an extra storage space.

5) do each pod have access to the storage area or is it just the middle pod? Just the middle pod - it has an internal zip at the rear which opens to the whole triangular shaped area

Re pegs - we have the same bag of rock pegs which goes with whichever tent we have.  We also have a bag with plastic pegs suitable for sand which we take to the continent.  Hope this all helps - bet you cant wait eh!!!!

Fiona

Thank you for your help and guidence....

Hi, I have been looking for one of these tents. Can you tell me where you got it and if they have a website or phone number please?

We love our weatehrmaster L. There's only me and the missus but we have 3 dogs too, hence the need for all the space!

We have not bought the 4th pod but we have got a small pop-up tent which we stick in the living area for when we have extra people to stay. Doesn't take up too much room and keeps the tent tidy.

Back to your sleeping bag question - we have the coleman hudson double bag. Loads of room and you don't feel restricted at all :-)

Hi Gemma - Lu,

We brought the 4th pod at a local store for a bargin £25... We figured we would be able to remove the other three pods (to keep the huhe inside space) and use the 4 person pod for us two and the kids... I mean dogs! lol ;)

We also have just brought a bargin kitchen station from 'the range' for £39! ever so impressed!

I think we have decided on keeping a double duvet - never feel warm in sleeping bags and since the dogs sleep in with us too thought it's best so they can snuggle up too!

Can't wait to head off camping now!

Looking for somewhere nice - really basic and cheap for a week at say end of May beginning of June if anyone has any recommendations? (South West/Dorset/Wales preferably!)

We've got one of these. We looked into the extra pod as an alternative and IIRC, the 4th pod is bogger but fits in the front section of the tent so you would lose the big living area. You could of course remove one of the other 3 pods but your living area shape would change.

It's really straight forward to erect, if a little heavy due to the steel poles. Once all of the poles are in it's a doddle to peg out.
