Kampa were late delivering in the past I seem to remember.

Surprised the Bude 4 is discontinued, we bough one in Jan (at a bargain price) and have already used it twice. Great for a couple/weekend getaway and have just got a Vango Adventure Tarp to add to the front.

As you can see below it's about so get some serious usage between now and July and it's so simple to pitch.

I have been speaking with my supplier regarding Kampa's delivery.  He has been in regular contact with Kampa

Expected time in the UK for ALL of their tents are the first 2 weeks of April.  And should be no later, of course you have to add on this the delivery time from your supplier to you.

Have spoken to our supplier today and he has said that the Filey Classic won't be in until middle of May as it's been delayed.  Looks like we will be camping in our old tent for our first two trips! 

Anyone else heard anything?

Still heard nothing.  To be honest I am a bit miffed with Kampa,  and I certainly wouldn't buy another tent from them. We've been waiting for weeks and have missed some lovely weekends where we could have gone camping, and time is ticking down to Easter now. 

Bet you we don't have it by Easter.

Some of Kampa's 2011 range is starting to get to the retailers.  If you are waiting for the 2011 (green) Kampa Fistral 4 - it would seem that some retailers already have their stock, eg. http://www.tentsandcamping.co.uk/brands/kampa/fistral-4.html so your retailer may get their's very soon or you could cancel your existing order and buy one from a retailer who already has got their stock...

I think if you have a look there are many manufacturers that have not got stock to the retailers yet. Even Outwell have held back some of their new 2011 range (e.g. the sun/orange polyester range) to release in the summer. Others with stock not out yet: Wild Country (expected June), Vango (eg Airbeams), Gelert (some due June). Coleman's tents seem to be coming in over the next couple of weeks. And that is just from a very quick Google search.

All the manufacturers have had to prioritise given such as issues in China and I suppose that it is only our expectations that say that a 2011 tent should be available for the start of the 2011 camping season... Hopefully, the tent will be with you very soon!!!

I am sure that all the manufacturers are doing their best to get their tents to all their retailers as fast as they can, hopefully without seeing quality etc slip in the rush...

Tent still not here!

Kampa sent a delivery of products to our retailer (which should have included tents) and they sent everything BUT tents!   Error in the warehouse apparently.

So, as I thought.  We wont be camping at Easter.

Anyone else got their Kampa 2011 yet?
