Vango Columbia 600 - 5000HH, steel poles, enclosed side porch, 2/3 bedroom option, full or part opening front, £280 new. Was in Vango's Premium tent range in 2009 (RRP then was £450) and there are still a few retailers with them (probably as they are using a pre-production photo with fibreglass poles). Excellent reviews and very similar (if not better) than the popular Montana 600.

Carpets are as scarce as hens' teeth, but you could cut down a larger one or sew together 2 smaller ones (I did also add a link to a possible source on the forum a few days ago - if they've still got them). You should be able to still find a Sungari 600 footprint groundsheet which is the same shape and size. The last supplier of the Vango "Wide" canopies has unfortunately sold out, but going by the dimensions the new Vango Samara 600's canopy should fit.

Gelert Horizon 8 is a good tent for the money. I know Gelert often come in for some stick, but this tent seems very popular and the reviews are good. Owned a cheaper more basic version of this tent Nemesis 6 and it was a perfectly adequate tent that stood up to some fairly adverse weather without any problems.
If there are only two or three of you travelling you also have the option of removing one of the inners to give you loads of room inside. Simple to erect and with the option of adding a porch for extra space.

We have purchased a Vango Icarus 600, with canopy, footprint and carpet delivered for £259!!!!!!

My sister in laws will be using our exsisting Gelert Rocky4, i have to agree with the seperate tent debate.
