I just hope it's not one of those models that doesn't quite get off the ground. It fits our needs well for living space, and I think people will really like the enclosed porch for a kitchen area. Very safe with a toddler around in the main compartment.
I'm really concerned that the sleeping area will be too tight for us.
It's such an important and big investment that I don't want to get it wrong. I love the Bamburgh and just wish they hadn't pinched the sleeping area in so much.

Just to confirm, the Maritsa 700 doesn't have a sewn in groundsheet in the porch area, it's a detachable riser groundsheet.
Is that the 2010 model? I think the 2011 has sewn in.
Hi there,
I'm new to this forum but hve just ordered our Kampa Bamburgh tent (yikes!!!!) We've ordered it 'blind' as we too can not find anyone who has this on display for us to view!
We have, however, seen the Maritsa on display and although liked it, the Bamburgh seems to have features we prefer. I'm liking the idea of opening out the porch to make the interior of the tent larger if we need, the windows in the porch suit us (we're nosey!!!) and as we have usually cooked under and sat under a gazebo, we won't be taking it and sittting in our porch!
I have invested in the carpet and footprint also so hoping this tent will last us many years and once we return from our trip in a few weeks time i will try to post photos on here for those who are intersted in what it looks like inside more etc.
