I like dark blue, especially over the sleeping areas. When tent shopping I walk in and think to myself, could I wake up to this with a hangover I could just about cope with a dark muted green, but not a pale one.
I do like my black Vango Beta 450, it's not the sort of tent you'd spend much time in, but the colour is great for sleeping in.

Did you see that tent before you bought it ?

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
Prefer blue but alongside our 2 blue ones we also have 2 sage tents (although the Kampa Bude looks more petrol colour in some light conditions). Wouldn't go for many of the greens out there or orange, they would make me feel sick. The Outwell mocca is also a bit on the pink side for us...
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
Well, if I'm honest I prefer the beige/cream and greens in canvas although I have got a couple of blue/grey canvas tents which are nice too. I also like the mocca/grey of the Outwells - hated it when I first saw it but after buying the Carolina I think it looks quite 'classy'.
But I do hanker after an orange & brown 70's little number ........

I'm in the green camp, when we were at the NEC show back in February we were talking to the sales guy, form vango I think, and I mentioned I preferred green over blue.
He said most people do choose green, and it's a better colour to sell and he wondered why, I said for us personally it was because we found blue oppressive and I like tents to blend in more with the scenery .
Of course the downside is many people have the same colour tent, but that doesn't bother me, seeing the cream and green ones in canvas I think are my favourite.
But after getting addicted to looking at all things canvas, I'm finding I'm really drawn to the orange brown and cream ones, which for me I'm finding most bizarre...lol!
About 18 years ago we had a Sunncamp one which was blue and jade green with red edging. It was lovely. A lot of the tents look the same now. I must admit I do like something a little bit different.
