I can't answer your question as to info on the tent. I have never been camping in my life but at £50 for the tent weighing up dog kenneling at £24 for one night (minimum 2 nights fee). We decided to buy the tent last weekend (the weather was glorious).
Instructions suggest setting up prior to going camping. Great we tested it Saturday/Sunday. We set it up in the rain, slept through the mild wind. Followed by a downpour of heavy rain this morning. Inside the tent remained dry.
We camped out in the back garden to test the tent and as to whether it would be suitable for our dog, no problem. Our 4 year old grandson also camped out with us too.
The first ground sheet is not sewn in but the inner tent is all sewn in which includes its own ground sheet.
I have no complaints, very spacious even with the drape divider.

We've just came back from 3 nights camping at Linton Lock, nr York and our friends who we were with had the ozark trail 6 berth. It rained heavily during one night and they stayed dry and cosy. The tent was easy to put up and take down, although didnt fit back into the bag, but most tents dont. It was very spacious too and tall enough to walk around in, and put table/chairs in the living area if necessary. We were so impressed that I went to buy one, they paid £50, the tents are now down to £35 in ASDA, south sheilds. For that price, even if we get one season out of it I will be happy.
We bought this tent from asda last week for £60 and were very happy with it as we wanted a tent to stand up in. We could easily put 3 folding chairs in which was handy to hang up our water proof coats. It rained a lot and the tent was excellent, waterproof. For £60 you can't complain but we did think it could do with a zip at top and bottom as we had to get up, stand up to unzip the bedroom door. You can't hold on to anything when you stand up. Can recommend this tent. We had 2 bedrooms spacious bedrooms in with a divider, the divider is thin, if you want more privacy an extra sheet will be good. There is space for another smaller bedroom on the opposite side. Groundsheet not attached. Good tent for the price
We got this tent last year for £50, on an impulse to return to camping and were very happy with it, It stood up well in the rain, and found it very spacious. and easy to put up. the bag was already ripped when we bought it so bought a 'Duffle bag' to keep it in off e bay. The only reason we bought a new tent this year was we prefer the sewn in groundsheet. in fact we liked it so much the new tent is virtually the same layout ( Nevada M ) we have kept the Ozark and my daughter borrowed it and they managed very well, even with 3 children........If anyone know of an extension that would fit the Ozark 6 please let us know, as my daughter has since had her 4th child and wants to 'carry on camping ! lol
------------- I am lost, i'v gone to look for myself, If I should return before I get back, Please ask me to wait.
Hi there I see alot of questions re the OZtrail Asda 6 person tent. I paid £60 from asda about 6 months ago and have used it about 25 times. It is easy with 2 people to put up (about20mins)
I think its brilliant. It does have two septate bedroom areas, the first being for four people, split with a thin divide, however i ripped this out as it was in the way. We use thisa bedroom ourselfs just me and the girlfriend so we have loads of space around our double air bed.
There is another bedroom area which can be fitted at other end of tent to sleep 2 people and this has been used a few times. however most of the time we dont put it up and you can sit 8 people inside this area and the middle area when its raining. To sum up great tent great price and becomes the hub of the camping weekend when it rains, as everyone wants to sit and socailise in ours.
I see a few people mention ripping, i have had none yet however one section of one pole has cracked and am looking for a new section. any help?
well worth £60 though i have had £100 of use out of it as was fed up with our 3 man dome, with no stiing, dressing space as it is so tall inside.

Rather odd thread. A number of posters seem to have registered over the last 2yrs just to make mostly favourable reports about these tents.
Exactly my thoughts, even before I reached your post.
Lots of positive comments by people who have never posted before and don't give outfit or location.

Call me a cynic...
Even at £50, I'd want to hope my tent would keep me dry, not drop to pieces and be reasonably stable. Personally, I'd buy used, or push the boat out a bit more.
I recently saw a brand new Kampa Minnis 4 for under £80, in Winfields, and the last time I was in they were offering the Vango Arc 300 for that price (in store). My point being, there are better / more reliable tents to spend your money on than the Asda special, IMHO.
