NearlyNewTents is operated out of "Blacks of Greenock" (not the high street store Blacks), which is a sister company to Vango, both being owned by AMG.

They buy the tents direct from Vango (on some sort of intra-company basis) - some are ex-display and others end of line or new. It was originally established as a reconditioning operation but now also deals with new tents. Anything ex-display is supposedly checked by Vango's quality controllers before going to NearlyNewTents (although always worth a close check over when you get it, as with any new tent).

We won our Vango Kairos off ebay from them and although we found a fault with the first, the customer service was excellent and although they initially wanted us to return the first at our expense, after a phonecall and emailed photo of the damage they arranged and paid for a next day exchange by courier. Fantastic service!

I bought a teny from them too in May, sold as ony used for potographs, it was great, as described, realy fasr delivery and no problems at all, they even added in the same parcel another couple of items id forgotten to order!

Would  use them again and most defnately recommend, also a very nice lady at the other end of the phone who seemed very knowledgeable regarding my queries.
