Be warned that some people have found that the Argos ones are not as pictured. Its best to go for the box sided rubberised (red and blue) airbeds as the tubular sided ones are far less comfortable and can roll if you lie on the edge. As they are not very wide, this is particularly likely with singles. There has also been suggestions that the Argos ones have only thin pillars of rubber holding the top and bottom together inside, which can go - resulting in great balls appearing in the airbed and leading to the failure of other pillars. You end up with a giant ball instead of a mattress.

Highlander do box sided doubles - e.g. Towsure. A lot more expensive, but we've found our son's Highlander single matches our 30 plus year old double. There are other retailers selling them too. Gelert also do/did one. We find them quite comfortable - just as well as our more modern Coleman Comforts won't fit in our touring tent (too tall and wide).

I'd ring to check that they come with boxed sides before purchase as when we bought our son one several with pictures showing box sides were actually tubular sided when I rang to check.

If the price is an issue rather than life span and the Argos ones come box-sided then the price may be worth the risk.

Hello smjy. I would recommend the Regatta Hyperdome 6. At the moment it is in the argos sale catalogue for half price ie £100. We bought one as a last minute purchase for our camping trip and i must say it is extremely good.

It has a good sized porch/living area which would give you plenty of room for tables and chairs etc. The two bedrooms are a really decent size and you probably could get six in reasonably comfortably. We are impressed by its waterproof capabilities a few drips around the edges but nothing to worry about. ..Camping in Cornwall is reasonably straightforward with it!!

Putting it up was not difficult either as the poles and the seam to feed it into are all colour coordinated.

As the meercat says, simples!
