Kampa is a high quality, low quantity manufacturer that only deals with smaller independent retailers who can display and knowledgeably sell their products, so you will not find their products in the larger nation-wide retailer outlets. Kampa have a dealer map on their website, but I doubt whether you will find displays up now.
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
Vango Maritsa!! We have the 600 - purchased last july and it is fab, pics in my gallery. sew in groundsheet throughout (including inside the porch) which can be zipped right open or closed off. We went and looked round our local independent retailer Camperite and they had lots we liked the look of. Kampa had a very similar one i think its called a bamburgh?? but looked a little cheap in our opinion as it has a LOT of plastic windows so felt very very open - not what we were looking for personally. I love our Maritsa, we can get footprint down, tent out the bag and up in 20 mins!! considering it's over 7m's long and over 4m's wide i think thats pretty good! We had a rather windy and wet couple of nights and it didn't budge - i love it!! Good luck with whatever you choose :)
Another vote for some happy Vermont XL users, we bought for exact same reasons, 3 bedrooms (currently using 2 with a 6 and 4 year old in one and the 3rd as a wardrobe. In future can use as 2 seperate beds for kids if they want. Wanted the kitchen stuff to be out of the main tent and can close it off. Previously had a Nevis 600 with Tunnel extension to house the kitchen. This was a replacement to minimise pitching time as only pitching one tent, really happy with it.
