I was going to suggest two tents instead of one when I read your OP. Then it would be two dogs per tent. I would imagine that there are more restrictions in the type of dog the more regimented the site. So if you are happy with a basic campsite then I can't imagine that you would have any problems with your Dobermans. We only use basic sites and while we always inform them we have a dog, we have never been asked what breed.

Thats good to hear, we are easily pleased shower and toilet will do us  been having a look at the dog friendly sites advertised on here and there does seem to be quite a few, so just need to decide on one tent or two now.

Please don't be discouraged by the £72 per night fees mentioned - not all sites are like that!!!

We have a site locally (too far for you I know) that charges £9:00 per night regardless of tent size and number of occupants. its a CS site, but has toilets and a shower.

Thanks, £9 sounds great, shower and toilet is all we need. I've found some dog friendly sites on here that are £10 a night so i've not given up hope yet.x
