Yeah, lovely views of Mont Blanc.

The pic was taken on my phone on the day I came home. We had alternate days of lovely 25+ weather and then rain, fortunately coming and going days were roasters.

Can't wait to get back there again.

We'll be staying on the same site for 10 days, too much hassle to move around.

Totally agree, we did a tour of Europe on the bikes, and for the most part stayed just one or two nights at each stop.

You never get to see the character of the places you arrive at doing this, so wouldn't do it again without having at least 3 full days at each stop.

Hi every one just a quick thought/observation

I have a Vango Gamma and although its a great little tent. The blue colour attracted flys like a magnet  its the worst tent ive ever owned for that problem.

The tent is now up in the summer house drying off before getting packed away at the weekend.

Then I need to find an excuse to use it again soon.

Good to hear. Always worth giving a new tent a quick soaking before setting off as long as its thoughly dried before packing.
