Sometimes it can be a bad thing to ask the sort of question you did in your Opening Post on here...Yes folk will answer with good advice...Tell you all the pluses and minuses of their particular tent...But that can add to the confusion and uncertainty already in your mind as to what tent you want /need...
I think you did the right thing having a look at reviews on here...And going to have a look at a few erected in tent displays...You had your budget...A fair idea of what you wanted...and stayed well within it with the tent you settled on....Well done....And welcome to the world of camping....And an extensive "wish list" of things you need/want to make the experience more comfy...
Enjoy hunting for all the "Bits and bobs" you will need...And have a great time on your 1st trip....

Thanks Jelboy. Although the advice on here possibly clouded our judgement regarding the best tent for us, I think the whole process has meant we have ended up with just the right tent for us. Had we not been to look at all the reccomendations made on here I think we may have ended up with something to big for our primary purpose of weekends away. This forum is proving so useful and everybody is so friendly. Thanks for all the help and will get some pics of the new tent up hopefully inthe garden at the weekend if it arrives I time and weather is dry.
