1 apex pole from centre front of tent to center front of awning. (you take out the short canopy piece on the front of the existing tent frame - about 9 inches straight piece, and insert the canopy apex pole into the now vacant socket.)
1 pole from centre front of awning to left front of awning
1 pole from centre front of awning to right front of awning
2 legs to ground from each front corner of awning.
3 way Jointing piece fits centre front of awning to hold all the poles together.
If you need a pic I'll put mine together and post a photo.

Thank you Brettsy! Dozy did send me a pic of hers and yours sounds the same.
Can I ask, how does the canopy attach to the front of the tent?
I plan to get hold of some canvas and make one, but it would be useful to see how the original works.

Cathy, I can send you a photo and measurements of the canvas - actually run me up an Izmir canopy and you can have the canvas ready made too - will need dying and the extra eyelets excused .

Life should not be measured by the amount of breaths we take but the moments that take your breath away.
We have a grange and love it,so much so the tigris is going to get sold now.The tent just works for us with the toilet and cooking areas. Its bullet proof in strong winds and the space,oh the space is brilliant.
I made a canopy from a groundsheet tarp, king poles and some grabits and works a treat as you can move it about as needs change.
In april i had it right down to the ground when the wind and rain was going crazy and meant we could get in and out of the tent without the rain blasting in the door.
It withstood serious winds that demolished a caravan awning opposite us one day.

When you have erected the tent you will find that the existing 3 mini canopy poles feed through the front wall of the main canvas, the canopy is fitted with ties and these are fed back into the tent through these openings and then tied around the main tent legs with the back end of the canopy sitting underneath the existing mini canopy, pretty much as you can see in Lockie's pic.
