Ive just bought an Outwell Nebraska xl for my first tent, but in hindesight wish id bought a Kampa croyde 6 nothing but brilliant reviews. Also from what ive read there customer service appears outstanding compared to outwell. Damn it im gunna sell the outwell and by a Kampa croyde 6 with footprint and carpet anybody know of any good deals.

Kampa tents are less likely to have big price differences between retailers as they are more selective of who sells their products. A package deal may be found cheaper between retailers but the main tent will probably be the same.
Hi Gary no I havent seen one on display il try and find my nearest place that has them pitched im in st helens near Liverpool. However I feel confident in buying before i try due to there excellent reviews and reputation. Do the kampa poles rust like the outwell poles.??

Think you will find that the good deal is that its a Kampa tent. Support your local independant Kampa retailer and buy from them

We now have 2 kampas, one was second hand and we love them both! Apart from being great tents let's support British made. Have also bought 2 kampa camp beds and aiming to get most of our newer stuff from them too. Our 2 nearest independant stockists sell kampa so that's another plus in my book. By nearest we are talking an hours drive either to Herts or further out in Essex.

I love my Kampa Pendine 8, was everything I was looking for at a great price and great quality, so glad the tent range is taking off, had a look at some other models at caravan/camping outdoor show in February at SECC and was impressed with everything I saw.

After the comments on this and some other threads I'm thinking that the current favourite for my new replacement tent is the Kampa Filey 6 classic. I've seen the Filey 6 in the flesh and liked it, I'm planning on getting a look at the classic in the coming week and hope to be even more impressed.
All being well I think it's the one to get. The layout and design are just what I'm after. I'm hoping the extra £s for pollycotton give it an even nicer feel and longer lifetime.
I understand the comments above about the fact that it's only sold through a few selected retailers so price fluctuation is likely to be less, that said someone reviewing on on this site claims to have paid just£450, is this a realistic expectation? It's way off the keenest prices I've found so far.
Dont think you will get a new Filey 6 classic for £450 as the standard Filey 6 is around the £600 mark

I had a quick look and I think they are referring to Ebay. Kampa were having a clear out of there warehouse earlier in the year and some tents were offered at great prices from memory these had slight faults though...?
It depends if you have got time to wait for a bargain or pay a higher shop price now. The advantage of course that you will get some warranty when purchased new. I'm looking at getting a Kampa Frinton 4 Classic tent and they don't seem to come up that often in a used condition on Ebay

Ah that explains things a little better then mcguire6078, cheers.
I'm not in q desperate hurry to buy one so I'll probably keep an eye on the retailers selling them for when they next run a discount code promotion of some sort, perhaps combine it with a price match if I'm lucky!
Good luck in your search for a Frinton 4 classic.
Dont think you will get much in the way of discount codes or price matches etc as we are not talking go outdoors here the best you are likely to get new is a last years model discounted. The main reason being Kampa tents are very keenly priced already so there is no room for big discounts. We have 2 Kampa tents and found this to be the case when buying both of them
