Congrats threebears I'm sure you will be more than pleased with the tent, although make sure you check it out before you take it away camping, we ordered a second belltent from them earlier in the year for my parents but due to the weather didn't manage to put it up untill last week and unfortunately it had a couple of tears in the groundsheet Not a big issue and they are exchanging it without a problem but just check it in plenty of time Our first 'belltent' has been fantastic and I would still recomend them to anyone who asked.

I have, in fact, plumped for Bell Tent UK today - a 5m ZIG (ultimate), with single tea light chandelier. I was swayed by the 10% discount (code: UMBRELLA on ultimate & deluxe tents) and the fact that I was doing my own head in trying to decide between what seems like much of a muchness in the end!
I decided I prefer the look without the fly mesh (Karma) and I had a rather snotty response to a question I asked SoulPad which put me off them (with soul my a*se!). I felt that whilst, they look lovely, Boutique Camping were just abit too 'new' and unreviewed for such a big investment (for me), and the lady at Bell Tent UK was really lovely. Should be here in a couple of days - whoop whoop - so excited. Thanks for the replies and advise x
PS, I have also put in an offer for the eBay German cotton awning, so just waiting to hear :0)
Regarding the canvas tarp from Germany, I also waterproofed it using Nikwax Cotton Proof, really easy to do in a washing machine, although it requires quite a lot. Nikwax themselves recommend 100ml per square meter.
