We are looking forward to the 2013 season more than ever, the reason for this is this years range of Kampa tents. I think the whole Croyde range deserves to be pitched. The Woolacombe also impressed us so you should see this tent pitched at most Kampa dealers I would of thought. I think Kampa are going to get some industry tent awards for their 2013 range, mark my words.

I really like the look of the Woolacombe too but it doesn't look as though it offers much ventilation though. I think Kampa make some great tents without the flashy colours that some of them have, imo!!
I hope whatever we end up with will take less time to pitch than our Athens and will be more 'pitch friendly', eg won't cost us double!!

I can say we will be definitely choosing the Croyde 4, i used to sell tents for around 5 years and i know a near perfect tent when i see one :) This tent really is good and do not believe that because of steel poles it would take any longer than 20-30 mins to put up. With 2 people it would be very easy in fact. The polyester is strong, the steel poles also and the simple layout plus included canopy tick so many boxes. So nice to see a manufacturer not forcing you to part with £150+ for sun canopy's because of a sloping front!! I remember the Athens well i really liked it and remember selling ALOT but to put up by yourself was always a test especially in windy weather :) Great tent though
I have recently bought the Woolacombe 4 and it is an appalling tent. The steel poles bent on first use and I am now trying to get a refund but campingworld are refusing. So I am left with a tent that has been put up once that is clearly faulty/poor design that I will never be able to use again.
I am really disappointed by the tent and by the very appalling customer services at camping world. When I said I didn't want the tent and wanted a refund they told me well if you don't want the tent the bin is out there!!!
I would advise against the woolacombe 4/6

I've just submitted a review of the Woolacombe 6... Think it's going to be a really good little weekender.
We originally ordered the Croyde 6 but changed the order as I thought the porch was worth the extra money for leaving stuff in at night and it not mattering if it rained etc.

Looking at the Croyde, it appears to have the features that I think let the Woolacombe down... But it's as big as out Bear Lake 6 so didn't make sense to me as a weekend tent!
