Ps yes Velcro seems to be the way to go, I'm just trying to find someone who could do it for us rather than risk doing ourselves, but struggling a little with it being inflatable

Actually went to see one on display today. Very impressed. The only thing I didn't like was the fact you can't have the windows 'open' without the vent at the top uncovered. I know this is hot ventilation but in he morning or evening when it is cold but you still want to see out, you have to let the cold air in...
Unfortunately they didn't have the groundsheet fitted but had a look at the toggles - pleased they looked quite high but they were quite spaced apart so I can see why there could be gaps.
Things I didn't like about the tent:
Having to have the window vents open every time you zip open the curtains - to seal the tent (and keep it warmer) you have to have all the curtains zipped up which is such a shame as its nice to have the natural light in.
I might try and cut some plastic to the right shape as the vents and affix with velcro somehow. Wonder how other Filey 6 owners have got on with this problem?
No curtains at all in the front section.
Not as wide as the Vango and slightly smaller overall but this is compensated by not having to put up a separate canopy and you can open up the whole tent.
The sunlight panel makes for less headroom - does this sunlight panel actually work?
Things I liked about the tent (over the Vango):
Deflation points
Single inflation point - much easier to inflate
Material and build quality
The way the whole tent opens up in one big tent
Less obviously an air tent to look at
Zip down windows
Storage area
Sleeptite bedrooms
Bedroom split
Toggles for the gsheet
Window in the side door - in the Vango you have to have the door open to get light in.
Was also quoted a good price I think - £1319.99 for the tent, groundsheet and carpet.
I do plan to get a matching carpet for the front section - the Filey 5 Air or Frinton 5 should be a good fit.
Thanks

Think you have picked out all the things we did that we liked about it. I don't know if clingons would work with the groundsheet in the front as I've never seen or used them I'm sure someone will be able to advise could be a good solutIon if they would. If you buy one and try putting something over the mesh panels in the windows let me know how you get on please may copy your idea!
Ps That's what we paid and was the cheapest we could find it, good price we thought

Hi
The £1299 price was from Norwich Camping. I saw the cashback offer from Camping World as well - was tempted by this as they are my local dealers - but there was nothing I really wanted to spend the voucher on.
I've now managed to get it for an even better price from somewhere else but I think its just a one off.
Please don't forgot to check in with Cross Camping to see if they have any deals on at the moment - they are extremely helpful and highly recommended.

Did you decide to take the plunge and get a Filey 6 Air?
