I have a pre 2012 BL6, and bought the 2013 front extension.

BE WARNED the 2013 extension DOES NOT FIT pre 2012 models!!!
Much unhappiness as we only discovered the problem whilst camping in France having taken over all the kit.

We have found a solution which was to have the tent and extension modified for about £200 by Scottish Mountain Gear.

Many many thanks for your reply, that's a definitive no then. Why are Outwell so useless in letting customers know which awning fits which tent? Surely they have the drawings that show which fits what?!

Hi,
I've tried for a few years to get hold of a front extension for my Bear xl. In the end, went for a tarp, works good for me but would still like the extension.
(stumbled on this post as I've seen a Montana 6p extension for sale, wouldn't fit, it's too wide)
