Its already gone back to Kampa once and they said there was nothing wrong with it. My friend came into my tent to help me try and stop the water spreading as it was pouring in through the roof and down by the poles. Some of my belongings e.g. radio, camera etc were ruined due to the rain coming in.
Looks like I am stuck with a tent I can't rely on and one that has had many issues with it.
samb72 if I was you I would have the tent independently inspected, and then once you have a written report regarding the problem with it file a claim in the small claims court, if you can supply evidence to support it leaking, i.e. a dvd of the tent up and then a hose pipe on the tent, this has got to back your case up, good luck, in the chance that it fails, then I would then get a large tin of fabsil and get it covered on the tent several times and hopefully this will solve the problem

uwho99 would you be willing to write me and email stating the issues you had with the tent and the retailer please as I am now having to take them to court for a refund.
It leaked again this week and despite me using the guidance from CAB they still insist there is nothing wrong with it but have offered me sealant to fix the seams???
I have taken photo's of the leaks and the puddles plus filmed the issue of the zip getting stuck and having to ask people to help me get out of tent!
After a break from camping we had decided to reinvest and get back on the bandwagon. We bought the Filey 6 Air and have only ever set it up once which was great to do and we loved the tent.
Now with ten nights booked in Norfolk later on this year, the thought of putting her up is filling me with dread!!!

After talking to a camping shop who shall remain nameless about the Filey 6 Air issues mentioned within this thread, they disclosed to us that Kampa claimed to have released a batch of the tents that had been manufactured using the wrong resin adhesive for the inflatable tubing. It's now a lottery if you have or have not laid your hands on one....however, because they are aware of this batch having been released, they should rightfully offer you replacement tubing FOC and are easily replaced. Anyone who ownes one and have only used it once should set it up asap and it should be apparent very quickly if you have or have not got a duff one.
They also said that inflatable tents should be assessed daily as you use them. If the weather is hot, you should release some of the pressure from the tubing to insure they don't rupture through expansion. Finally, Kampa only treat the main seams on their products and it is recommended that you treat all other seams yourself annually with a spray treatment or seam sealer.
Ours was put back up today and thankfully she stood firm without any leakage.....we will reinflate her once more before our main holiday and follow their advice....good luck to all you other owners.
