Hello !

We are a small family of 3 too!

I invested in a royal athens tent. It's very spacious for us, and all of our belongings.

It's fair priced, in the middle really. It's a heavy tent due to steel poles.

But I opted for the 4 man as it's truly spacious, and invested in an extension for the longer trips

Just looked at the Royal Athens 4 and it looks amazing. Is it difficult to put up ????? Really fancy it !

We just got the Hi-Gear Elite 4 as a weekend tent, my wife really wanted the Outwell Rockwell 5 but I wanted to avoid the cost of another Outwell tent (we have the Outwell Montana 6P and all its extras and matching gear).

Got the Hi-Gear Gobi Elite 4 with carpet and footprint for £185.

Hi anner!

This was our first proper tent - was a complete breeze to assemble!

Colour coded poles, you truly cannot go wrong

This tent also comes in 6 berth form - it was huge!!!

But we felt if we needed more space - we would use the extension

I'm bias yes - but it's never leaked nor let us down - we love it and use the porch for our toilet

Do you think it's ok just for weekends, I'm worried it might be too big but I love it and a seller is selling it for £249 which is an absolute bargain ?

It's def a large tent - it comes in 2 separate bags ( again large) one for poles and one for tent itself

We felt the price was a steal for us, and truly do t regret our decision

Right I've gone for a outwell Covington 4 , felt the other one was too heavy . Seems to get good write up so here's hoping x thanks for all the advice !
