Well the Karma bell tent arrived, not impressed all the guide ropes are different lengths, not length as described in the pitching instructions. The rock pegs, don't make me laugh, you know the type one tap with a hammer and They bend A along with the thin wire ones that are no better. You'd think after spending £539 you'd get decent pegs, think now maybe I should have bought the Duskydeer.

Sorry to hear that. We never got any pegs with ours so cant comment on that. As far as I know only one of the guy lines should be longer. ( the front one) again unless they are very short, cutting them to the same length is no major problem if you want. You should have got wooden sliders for the guy lines?? Can I suggest you contact Andrea Jackson at Karma, who I am sure can resolve any problems you have. This seems to me small problems that can easily be resolved. All pegs that come with most tents seem to be crap, thats why I have never used any of them and gone and brought my own.
Hi geoffprinter,
We put the tent up Sunday morning and it does make up for the poor quality pegs. We were amazed how fast it went up so much easier than all the others we'd had in the past. Was going to drop Andrea a mail this morning as one of the wood tensioner was split and another has a hole drilled in its end. Don't know if the retailers of these tents keep updating the specs each year, retailers like Camping + canvas, Boutique and Duskydeer sell their tents with really study pegs, not the poor quality you'd get with a cheap nylon no brand tents. Like I said would have thought for the money we spent the pegs would have been same quality as the tent.
