Sorry to hear that. We never got any pegs with ours so cant comment on that. As far as I know only one of the guy lines should be longer. ( the front one) again unless they are very short, cutting them to the same length is no major problem if you want. You should have got wooden sliders for the guy lines?? Can I suggest you contact Andrea Jackson at Karma, who I am sure can resolve any problems you have. This seems to me small problems that can easily be resolved. All pegs that come with most tents seem to be crap, thats why I have never used any of them and gone and brought my own.

They are probably all made in the same Chinese factories, and there are just minor variations in things such as the weight of the fabric, whether the tents have mesh doors. Of course the other three main variations of course are having a) a loose pegged down groundsheet, b) a sewn in groundsheet c) a zipped in groundsheet.
