Thanks everyone, lots of good ideas here, this forum is great!

Cool breeze - I realise I was looking at the Illusion 800XL which was about £1,600. We are a family of 5 so think we need a bit more bedroom space. I know the 500 says it's a 5 person tent but I think it would be a bit of a squash! Especially with growing children 😀

I wish more tents had the clips for the extra inner bedroom - just gives more flexibility.

I just assumed you were thinking of the 500 don't know why sorry.
I would agree with you going for the bigger one we're only 4 and the kids are young enough to get away with two bed rooms.

We think next time we're in the market we'll probably go bigger.

Anyway tent came today so looking forward to getting it set up.
First impressions is BIG!! and good weight but the wheels on the bag are a help, not sure about on grass though.
