I would say that the first picture is a Bora Bora, as it looks like a SIG looking at the door, the second pic looks like a vis a vis looking at doorway for SIG which doesn't seem to be there and the sides are different to a Bora Bora

I get the feeling from the colour you mentioned that the tent is a vis a vis and not a Bora Bora with no sewn in ground sheet in centre part
Yep, just checked the 2006 catalogue and it's in there...Bora Bora in those colours:

Thank you so much for this! I was begining to think the present owners had made a mistake. It's great to see the catalogues. I've got tent fever now :)

If you ask whether the tent has a full sewn-in groundsheet or if it has separate slip-up bedroom inners, you'll know for sure which model it is, before making the journey.

Best of luck with it!
Thank you. I am viewing the tent this Sunday so will report back afterwards. Weather permitting I will give it a trial run in the garden soon after. How sad am I?

If you don't like it, but like the style...research "Touareg" style tents for sale.
Thank you I just had a quick peek at Touareg tents and they are nice. They seem very reasonably priced as well? To be honest since I got my Cabanon I haven't really looked for another tent but this Bora Bora appeared locally for a really good price and I decided I'm not too old for another tent. If this one is bad I may look at a pyramid style.
Sorry if I'm becoming a nuisance asking more questions. I have the opportunity to purchase a canopy from a Cabanon vis a vis sun canopy and I wondered if it is likely to fit the Bora Bora?

Ha!Ha! Indeed, no need now! And never too old for another tent!
As an aside, I have both a bell tent and a Dutch pyramid style tent (have had two...), and whilst they are undoubtedly great(quality) tents, I am at a loss as to what if any advantages the basic design has over a bell tent?
But some do look lovely, like the Esvo Bedouin range..........

I reckon it should do, since canopies on both models attach to the flysheet with ties then have a front frame with a centre support pole which attaches back to the tent frame. The basic size and shape of the two tents is about the same, if not identical.
When you pitch it, make sure the D-rings for the canopy attachment are at the front!
