The car manufacturer’s advice is based on the roof load while driving. When the car is stationary, roof racks can carry about 4 to 5 times as much weight. It is then no problem to load the car roof with 200 to 400 kg.

Limits are for driving, static much higher ( my vafir 100kg, to offend 80)
