If you've got room try putting it up in the garden before you go anywhere, if not room in garden some on here have put up their tents in the park.  Putting it up before you go gives you an idea of what goes where and you'll be better at it second time round, with everyone else on the campsite watching to see if your tent is better than theirs!

I would highly recomend putting it up before you go,, nothing worse than traveling a long way to a camp site, unpacking the tent only to find some of it missing like some of the poles!!! yes it really did happen!!!!

I would recomend putting it up as well we put up our tent in the garden to find that it was a completely different tent to the one we had purchased, a 800dlx compared to the 600 dlx the 800 only has 2 bedrooms and we wanted 3. Changed it the following day and recieved lots of godies in way of apologies.
