Are'nt most family tents described as two season? I'm pretty sure the description in Towsures catalogue for the Vango Aspen and Diablos are only two season..

It looks good to me, but I agree that you might find problems with after-sales services. I t might be worth askingthe seller ( seeing as its an online shop) what they offer in terms of customer services and get it in writing ( or keep the email). Surely then if you have problems you would be more likely to be covered by trading/consumer protection law. I am no expert on that though, and there are folks on here who know lots more than me.

And on the subject of seasons I have worked out there must be FIVE in the camping manufacturers' year. 1 season is summer. 2 season is summer and spring, three is summer, spring and autumn, four is summer, spring, autumn and winter, and five ( yes I have seen "5 season" sleeping bags!!) is summer, spring, autumn, winter and dangling off the face of a glacier!!

I am with Delta on this one - we have the Vango Quest 600 which is rather over-engineered for our usual camping trips, but at least I feel confident that it can take what the British climate can throw at us at any time of year! But I am a complete WUSS.

we have recently bought a naturebound pine 6 tent from a local camping shop who stocks them.

we are new to camping scene and have only tried it out over last bank holiday at local campsite. we found it very easy to put up.about 30minutes,and about the same to take down.quality seems as good as most others we looked at. it is very roomy inside and the large porch with front and side openings is ideal for easy access, yet under cover in bad weather. there is also a rear door to tent, not really shown on picture. this gives even more access and also provides good ventilation. there are ample vent openings and we liked the vact that all doors, window and bedroom doors have the mesh screen independant from the main flap.this meant we could leave flaps open but leave mesh closed. it was ideal for out 5 year old in one bedroom, and us in the other. we were able to close the mesh screens on bedrooms but still see him and he see us.we are looking to  put it though its paces next year, so will report back on how it fairs.

As far as I can see, most tents ( except the specialised ones ) are classed as 2 season.  Even the Diablo 600 is classed as 2 season.

Update on the tent....Have just returned from 2 nights away in this tent & have to say the quality is nothing less than excellent, we had a downpour on friday night & we were dry as a bone. Its exactly the same as the Diablo 600 but with a larger porch.after having a gelert vario 5 & a relum khios metallica. i would have to say this is the BEST tent ive used yet! & a damn site cheaper than the diablo 600


P.s . my brother has one for sale if anyones interested...BRAND NEW & never taken out of the bag !!

Like the look of this tent - looks roomy very simular to one we've seen at our local camping shop although cant remember what it was called though. As for 2 seasons think our winfield and easy camp milano are 2 seasons but the HH isnt that high but have asked and as long as its above 1500HH youll be fine (if youre staying in this country that is)lol
