It keeps the sig clean too. I've got a roll of damp-proof membrane left over from some building work  - just very thick plastic sheeting - so I just cut a piece to size. Another tip for cold weather that I originally found on this forum  - I had some leftover laminate floor underlay and that is great insulation for the bedroom floor. Doesn't take up much room and it's very light.

I can't wait to get one now - Norwich Camping won't have any until end of March and I saw on another thread that there have been some stock issues with Outdoormegastore otherwise I think I'd just order one.

Don valley at doncaster have one set up for display and it did'nt state "this one only" on the price so i would say they have stock. Give them a call if you cannot wait.

It was the L model on display i noted as i liked the xl.

I've been reading through your comments on the Arizona and Robens Valley Lodge.  Returning to camping after about 20 yrs doing other things now that we're empty nesters, we want head room etc rather than wriggling around on our backs or hands and knees.  Spent 3 weeks last year camping in Yellowstone and Yosemite and absolutely loved it.

The Valley Lodge is noticably bigger than the Arizona, but lighter, and 5000HH instead of 3000HH.  Only source I've found for the Valley Lodge is in Germany thru Ebay at about £196, whereas the Arizona is available for £99. Whilst I have never regretted buying quality, is the Valley Lodge really worth twice as much?   Any comments gratefully received.

We we bought the Arizona L a couple of weeks ago from Yeomans for £99 and used it for the first time this weekend. Must say we are delighted with it.

Easy to put up - about 20 mins for the first time - and of course even easier to take down. The sleeping pod is more than enough for 2 and you can get a small table and 2 chairs in the living area.

We already have upright poles (not included with the tent) from our Indiana so used them on the front door to make a canopy.

Really pleased all round but will have a go at making a "bucket" style ground sheet to help reduce drafts!

We just bought the Arizona xl from Yeomans. We needed a tent for Daves brother and the dog one he could stand in but wasn't too big, and thought the Arizona l ticked all the boxes (right price too at £99.99 and Yeomans) So went done to the shop at Ambleside and on the board the advertised the xl at £99.95 4pence cheaper than the l!!!! So hes not got the extra space cheaper! The salesman said it was because Outwell are going to change the colour for next year and want to get rid of this years stock! I'm not bothered what the reason is we think we got a bargain. Going to try it out Sunday and Monday!!

Sorry I didn't see your post before now. I didn't get one in the end, carried on using my old Lichfield Challenger instead. Did you get one? If so - ditto - I'd be interested to hear your views.

Not sure if people are aware, but Go Outdoors have the Arizona L on in there sale at the moment at £79.99.

I'm off there tomorrow to get one!
