I've got an eden 800 too. I love it, its my favourite out of all my tents.(I also have an outwell nevada xl, and a wynnster kestrel).

 I was so lucky with mine, I bought it for £9.50 on ebay, a shop return , sold as spares or repair. I was pronounced mad, because I had only just bought the other 2 tents brand new. But it was so cheap, it was worth it if I only had the spare poles from it. Turned out to be the bargain of the year for me .

It was almost like new, still had that new smell to it. from what I could make out it had had a pole split in the sleeve,making a few tiny holes,  which I fixed with tenacious tape. They have never leaked and its been tested in some real downpours.

I t didn't have the porch groundsheet, but I use a cheap tarp for that.

it had no inner tents, but the inners from my wynnster kestrel fit it, I don't have the extra bedroom that goes in the front, but manage without it. it's a fab tent.

its really warm and cosy.

The best feature is the closed in porch , it is so useful.

You can cook in the porch in bad weather and keep the main tent sealed off from the cooking smells. I use the porch for the kitchen stuff, its really spacious, all the junk gets dumped there, wellies etc,so the main tent stays tidy and I bring the kids bikes inside it at night . Its a great sunshade or rainshelter. We sit in the porch  when the kids are in bed too  so we don't disturb them.

Since I got this tent I've never used the other 2 .

still keep looking though, must be a tentaholic.

I'm Paul Roberson, MD at Outdoor Megastore. It's great to see so many Sunncamp owners sharing their views and experiences with Sunncamp tents. We have always been very impressed with Sunncamp's quality and attention to detail on their tents. However, over the last couple of years this has inevitably resulted in their prices rising above those of competitive product. Luckily they've had some really original designs, like the Evolutions, which has enabled them to retain a good share of the market. For 2010, I'm delighted to be able to say that Sunncamp has finally decided to change factories in China with the result that their prices for 2010 will be coming DOWN on most models with NO compromise on quality. For us, the retailer, this means that we'll be buying and stocking more Sunncamp tents than we have done in previous years to offer to Sunncamp aficionado's! The Vario's and Evolutions again look stunning (and the Evolution Canopy range has been expanded and improved) and the Shadow 800 tent is so good we've decided to buy it in in our own version (to be called the Kansas 8) in a unique colourway and an improved hydrostatic head (3000mm) that will not disappoint Sunncamp fans.
