Have you considered a Wynnster Phoenix 6?  I've got last year's version (the Pegasus) which doesn't have a SIG but the Phoenix does.  It pitches flysheet first and, although it is a dome not a tunnel it is pretty much square as it doesn't have pods that stick out at angles. Having seen the Vermont up you don't lose any more floor space due to sloping walls or anything.  There is slightly less space in the living area but it is still very big in comparison to most tents.

The Pegasus I have is a really nice tent.   The big clear windows at the front let in loads of light and there are also side windows and a skylight so it is lovely and roomy and light inside.

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

New! Please upload a photo of your tent to the Tent Showcase!

To echo Midge21 - the Vermont XL is just brilliant.

The space is huge - much bigger/more useful than we need. For instance, we've keep the wardrobe bit up - and put the portaloo it there (on a £1 picnic rug for shere luxury).

Go for it - you won't be dissapointed. Our 2007 model has been through proper rain - and no leaks.
