Wish I'd been on here when that thread about these was going, as this is almost identical to one I tried to order from De Witt (?) but they would not deliver to the UK. Love the fact that you can have both sides up to make a large canopy...at this moment I'm the same colour as the tent!....it's lovely, pitched great.

I'm in Norfolk this weekend so if it is too claustrophobic............[;)]

The Relum Task Force range is almost identical, even down to the side-opening extension...

Hope this helps!

De wit have replied... They will send the Ibiza to England at a cost of €35.56

So the total with the tent is €160.56

I assume that doesnt include the groundsheet though but I didnt ask for that lol

Sorry Angie, I read the thread backwards and have just seen your reply!

Thank you so much...that sounds great....you must have a way with words!

I am sourly tempted as I presume that will be cheaper than the relum, even with postage.

How would I best go about ordering do you think? Should I contact them first by email or can I order on line straight away....last time I tried and messed it up there did not seem to be an option for UK delivery.

I am away for all of next week so will probably have to hold off ordering until I get back in case there delivery is super quick.

Thanks for your help and sorry Fostermum for going off topic a bit!

This is the copy and paste of the email :)

Bas Wagenaar

Afdeling tenten.

The first bit is postal costs

The second bit is the total for tent and postage

And the last bit says basically.. call us :)

OH tried to order one online and it would let him select postage to GB

So if you want an Ibiza then you shall have one :)

I dont know what their payment options are from ourside the Netherlands but I am sure credit cards speak an international language lol

If you are still wary about calling to find out about payment etc, holler and either I or OH will give them a call

ANgie

Thanks for your help Angie (and OH) it is really appreciated.

I now realize what I did wrong when trying to order before (sorry I can't say what, as you'll think I'm even simpler than you did before!) and thanks to your advice I will hopefully have my ideal tent in a few weeks.

It's actually bigger and more substantial than I first thought, at 23kg and 5 metres in length.

Fostermum, if it looks half as good in the flesh as your Cabanon pics I'll be chuffed!....just wondering if I can get away with stopping off in Norfolk for a test drive before I order......[;)]

Thanks all.

The person who posted back in 2009 hasn’t been around for many years. I think your tent is a canvas ridge tent? I had a Cabanon one very similar; no, no instructions & no photos. I’ll try to remember how I pitched it 40 years ago (!) but I camped solo, so it wasn’t difficult.
Other folks might be more helpful than me.

2024 = 20 sites / 41 nights. 2023 = 9/23. 2022 = 13/35. 2021 = 11/29. 2020 = 4/20. 2019 = 13/35. 2018 = 20/33. 2017 = 10/22. 2016 = 19/33. 2015 = 15 sites / 27 nights. Didn't count 1976 to 2014.
